Double-fold Window Card
This is the card I created during my Facebook Live video June 15th.
1.) Start with 2 standard card bases, 8.5" X 5.5", each scored at 4.25".
2.) Create a window in one card base. I used the 2" circle punch for my opening. (You could use a die and a die cut machine.)
I stamped the large circle from the Swirly Frames stamp set in Cinnamon Cider using the Stamparatus around the opening on the front of the card.
My sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla card stock, and punched using the Tailored Tag Punch. Punch Cinnamon Cider and Early Espresso card stock with Tailored Tag Punch to layer behind sentiment.
3.) Adhere the second card base under the front card base with the second fold on the right. (The first or front card base should have the fold on the left, as ususal.)
I decorated the inside of my card with the cabin image on a 2" circle of Very Vanilla card stock. This was colored with a Water Painter and ink from the lid of my Cinnamon Cide and Shaded Spruce ink pads. The next layer is a large circle of Cinnamon Cider card stock cut with the large circle in Stitched Shapes Die and embossed using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. The base layer is a piece of In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Cinnamon Cider.
4.) Adhere the second card base under the front card base with the second fold on the right. (The first or front card base should have the fold on the left, as usual.)
5.) Adhere a piece of Very Vanilla card stock on the inside of the second fold. Adhere a strip of DSP at the bottom.
